what is Summerland?

Born out of a passion for The Lord and the lake, Summerland partners the relaxation and fun of Lake Eufaula with an unashamed focus on God's word and His love for us. The primary mission of Summerland is to facilitate forever.  Our desire is to create a space where core memories are formed, lifelong friends are made, and lives are eternally changed.

Recreation time at Summerland is unlike anything else.  Each afternoon we embark onto Lake Eufaula for a time of fun and community building.  Through wakeboarding, wakesurfing, tubing, fishing, swimming, and other lake activities students can create memories and form bonds unlike anywhere else.  These opportunities to learn a new skill, tube with a friend, or just boat ride around create natural space for community to blossom each day.

Scripture is not second to fun at Summerland.  Students will have opportunities to intentionally engage with God’s word during daily quiet times, morning devotionals, small group sessions, and evening worship services. Outside of guided devotional times, students will be able to witness firsthand the glory of God’s creation. The combination of lakeside fun and scripturally sound learning opportunities create an environment where attendees can truly begin to take part in life giving relationships— both with their group and with the Heavenly Father. 

With a maximum weekly enrollment of 300 attendees, Summerland maintains a focus on community-centric camp and camper safety. By limiting attendance in this way, Summerland is able to facilitate a safe and supervised setting for students to grow in their faith and have fun on the lake.
